Caring for the Fatherless: Foster Care, Adoption, and Advocacy

We believe that God’s heart is especially tender toward the fatherless, and He calls us to reflect His love by caring for those in need. Scripture reminds us that God is a father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5), and as His people, we are invited to follow His example through foster care, adoption, and advocacy. We are committed to engaging in opportunities to serve children in need, offering them not only safety and support but the love of Christ. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and help them experience the hope of a loving family. FIRST IMPRESSION GREETER MINISTRY

When someone visits our home, we greet them at the door with a friendly welcome, a smile, and kind words. We want them to enjoy their time with us and come back to see us. PRAYER MINISTRY

We cannot explain it, but for whatever reason God has chosen prayer as the means through which He moves and acts in the world today. God acts in response to the prayers of His people. There are things that happen in this world that would not have happened if someone didn't pray for them. This is why prayer is at the heart of everything we do. We want to invite you to join our Prayer Ministry as we commit to praying with and for one another.

Three Ways to Get Involved

In Service Prayer

This team prays during our Sunday services for the Word of God to be delivered effectively and free from distraction. The team prays for all those in service and streaming online, believing that everyone who worships with us will receive the Word.

Deeper Life

Join us on Wednesday nights as we spend time together each week discovering what God teaches us about prayer in His Word and praying with and for one another.

Agape Prayer Group

One of the greatest ways we express love for others is by faithfully and consistently praying for them. Our Agape Prayer Group will receive regular email updates with ways they can be praying for the people and ministries of Grace Heartland church and the missions we support.

FIRST STEPS MINISTRY

First Steps is ministry for newborns -2 year olds. We want every child to know that: God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever. Help is needed during our Sunday services (8:30, 9:45, and 11:00am) and during our Wednesday night Deeper Life classes. Want to share the love of Christ with children?

GHC KIDS

We are looking for families and individuals who will serve in various ways during our weekend services and on Wednesday nights in GHC Kids. We invite you to serve for one Sunday and discover what a blessing it is to be a part of leading the next generation to follow Christ. There are also behind the scenes opportunities to serve. Whether it's preparing our Wednesday night meal, or food for a special event, there are always plenty of things to be done in the kitchen. No food experience needed, just a servant's heart. Interested? Want to know more?

Tech Team

Serving on our tech team is extremely important to our worship experience. It is rewarding to work behind the scenes to enable God to be worshiped. The presentation computer operator controls everything on screen as well as triggering lights. No previous experience is needed, full training is provided. Sound technician is also an exciting part of our team and requires in-depth training. Is God leading you to use your tech gift for His kingdom?
